University of Maine goalie Ben Bishop signed a pro contract yesterday with the St. Louis Blues. He will play with the Peoria Rivermen for the remainder of the season. Ben Bishop just completed his third season at U Maine and was elligible to play for one more season. Congratulations and Good Luck Big Ben! You are "unbelievable" and I will miss seeing you next season at the Alfond.
Bishop is the second player from Maine to sign a contract this week. On Monday, Senior Captain Travis Ramsey signed with the Manitoba Moose, the top affiliate of the Vancouver Canuck's.
