We went to the Parade this morning, it was OK but there was alot of political stuff for the upcoming election that I think should have not been included in the parade. There were some nice floats, a fire hose brigade, and bag pipes but the most moving part for me has always been watching the Veterans of Past Wars marching past, it brings a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat as I remember all they were willing to sacrafice for their country. We are spending the afternoon with some friends and tonight we will head back into town to see the fireworks.
